Eric Weddle (born January 4, 1985) is a current safety for the San Diego Chargers. Weddle was born in Alta Loma, California and played for Utah.

Eric Weddle played at the Senior Bowl, where he had a great week … Tremendous all-round athlete … Sometimes took snaps at QB for Utah on third downs and near the goalline, where he would often run the ball … Great versatility … Can also play CB … Has estimated 4.48 speed, and ran exactly that at the Scouting Combine … Great acceleration … Athletic, played many positions, has done everything that has been asked of him.
