Jon Beason (born January 14, 1985 in Miramar, Florida) is a linebacker for the Carolina Panthers

High School Years
Jon Beason in his early years attended the now 2003 and 2005 High School Football State Champions Chaminade Madonna College Preparatory School from 1999-2003 leading the High School to an All-State Championship at 2003. He is a tough competitor who impressed coaches with his consistent intensity throughout his high school career.Beason Play Multiple Positions including: Linebacker, strong safety and fullback. During and after his high school career he consistently dominated opponents in run support, but also showed ability to be effective in pass coverage. He not only played basketball but did track and basketball too as a starting forward on the basketball team and helping to lead his team to the finals of the state playoffs in 2002. As a senior, rushed for 811 yards and 12 touchdowns at fullback, and made 75 tackles and had five pass interceptions on defense. After graduating from hish school he chose UM over Florida State, Florida, Tennessee, Louisiana State and Georgia. he claims that most of his strengths and his motivation was from his high school coach Mark Gaundolo.

7th Floor Crew
Beason was known at the University of Miami for his purported role (as "Big Beast") in the recording of the song "7th Floor Crew", a lewd rap music song about sexual activities on the seventh floor of UM's Mahoney Hall.
