Matt Moore (born August 9, 1984, in Van Nuys, California is the former starting quarterback for the Oregon State Beavers football team. He played from 2005–2006. He is listed as 6'4" tall with a weight of 191 lbs. He is a senior majoring in Speech Communications. He started his collegiate career at UCLA before transferring to Oregon State in 2004. He was also drafted in the 22nd round by the Angels for Major League Baseball.

2006-07 Season
After a 2-3 start, Moore and coach Mike Riley received a great deal of criticism from fans. Both found redeption after winning the next 8 of 9 games. This streak included a win over #3 ranked USC and a Civil War win at home, and finished off with a come from behind win at the Sun Bowl against Missouri. Moore was named the C.M. Hendricks Most Valuable Player after the Beavers won 39-38 on a gutsy two-point conversion with 22 seconds left to play, and set the Sun Bowl record for passing touchdowns at 4. He ended his career with the school record for consecutive passes without an interception at 182. He is currently a prospect in the 2007 NFL Draft.
