Richard Marshall is and excellent athlete who has good size. Marshall has decent speed, fluid hips and good mobility. Richard Marshall is reasonable agile and can change direction with most receivers. Marshall had decent hands and good solid ball skills. Richard is both a dynamic and exciting player who will make things happen in the open field. Richard Marshall is an aggressive player who has great closing speed and has the ability to help out in run support, where he can deliver the big blow. Marshall is a game breaker who seems to come through with a game changing play when needed. Richard Marshall has a lot of upside and potential.
Richard Marshall needs to work on his technique and continue to development as a player. Richard is a better in man coverage at this stage of his career then he is in zone. To play in the NFL, Richard Marshall will need to add some muscle, as long as it doesn’t affect his foot speed. Scouts have noticed that Is better in man coverage than zone at this point lacks great instincts, and needs to do a better job of locating the ball, and anticipating plays. Richard is a raw prospect who has only been a starter for 2 years.
Richard Marshall has returned three interceptions for touchdowns in his career and led the Bulldogs in tackles as a junior. Marshall did not garner the hype that other corners in this draft have received but he is a great NFL prospect. Richard Marshall is a complete corner with natural cover skills and very few weaknesses who is still getting better. Scouts and media alike have Richard Marshall very underrated and he should have a good career in the NFL
