Brandon Boykin NFL Draft Bio
Brandon Boykin (born July 13, 1990) is an American football cornerback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL). After playing college football for Georgia, he was drafted by the Eagles in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Boykin attended Fayette County High School (Georgia) and played for the varsity football team. In his senior year, he, along with fellow NFL Player Matthew Daniels, lead the football team into its first undefeated season in over 20 years. Boykin also played for the schools basketball team where he averaged Eighteen points and Five assist per game while helping lead his team to the state Championship.
Boykin attended the University of Georgia from 2008 to 2011. He finished his career with 159 tackles, nine interceptions and a sack. As a senior he was the MVP of the 2012 Outback Bowl which included a safety tackle on Keshawn Martin and a 92 yard punt return which he made defenders miss in a 33-30 loss which the game took 3 overtimes and was the winner of the Paul Hornung Award.
