James Marten (born March 18, 1984)is an American football offensive tackle who currently plays for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League. He played collegiately at Boston College.

Played at the Senior Bowl, and performed reasonably well … Needed to bulk up a bit, having dropped to 303 from 315 a year ago, but is now back up to 310 … Hard working … Boston has a big offensive line, but the tackles are required to have mobility … Plays aggressively … Played two years at left guard before switching to left tackle in his Senior year … Good footwork in pass protection … Good blocking straight ahead … Lost Calais Campbell on a stunt against Miami and the resulting pressure on the QB led to an interception ... Was invited to participate at the Scouting Combine ... Did not run at his Pro Day but did record 25 bench presses.

Three-year starter awarded All-Conference honors as a senior. Used at left tackle last season after spending the prior two years at guard.
