Strengths:
Justin Blalock has outstanding size and bulk and he has decent athleticism, quickness and balance. As you would expect from a big man, he is very strong and powerful where he uses that advantage to be stout at the point and does not get pushed back. Blalock can be dominate enough to overwhelm defensive linemen at the point using a great initial punch. For a big man, he moves well which allows him to be a terrific run blocker, thumping defenders out of the way. He is smart, hard working nasty player what plays on the edge using that killer instinct to terrorize the opposition. He is a top notch player who has top intangibles and a lot of experience. He is durable and versatile and should be taken high in the first round.

Weaknesses:
Justin Blalock does not have great feet, his footwork needs refinement and we would like to see him play with more consistent leverage. Justin will need to be coached at the next level, he is not yet a great technician and still relies too heavily on his natural talent. He is a much better run blocker than pass blocker and tends to get winded a bit too quickly which limits his range. Notes:
Was a four-year starter with loads of experience. Justin played right tackle for most of his career but saw some action at guard as a senior. As an NFL player, expect Blalock to move inside to the guard spot, but might play tackle as well. He is one of the better prospects to come along at his position in a while and he is the rare guard with first round potential.
