Obomano was a fun player to grade, because despite him not catching a ton of passes, when the Tigers threw him the ball, he stepped up and made plays. He is a tall receiver with a thin-looking frame (despite measuring over 200 pounds). He has much quicker feet than expected from a 6-foot-plus receiver -- he consistently bursts off the ball quickly, can get separation in routes and has the burst after the catch to get away from defenders fast. He has the hands to reach out and pluck the ball with ease, and he does a very good job of turning and getting started upfield very quickly right after the catch. Once he has the ball in his hands, he has the burst to run away from defenders, the agility to stop and start to make tacklers miss, and the size and strength to take hits, keep his feet and gain yards after contact. While he was not a primary returner at Auburn, he has the size, strength, athleticism and hands to do a solid job as a returner in the NFL. Overall, Obomano is a tall and athletic receiver, with the tools to be a starting receiver in the NFL once he develops his skill.
