King is a tight end who definitely looks the part on film with the height and build that is ideal. While he lacks explosiveness and big play speed, he does run efficient routes, and once he gets to full speed, he plays faster than his 40 time. He has very good hands and has consistently shown the ability to reach out and make the tough catch -- he can get down and catch the low pass surprisingly well. He is a strong and highly competitive runner after the catch, keeps his legs churning and consistently gains yards after contact.
