Greg Blue is a good athlete, with excellent size and a solid frame. Greg is very fast with good recovery speed and a burst. Blue lives for the big hit and will lay people out and has excellent range in coverage. Greg Blue's hips are fluid and he has quick feet, making him outstanding in run support.

Blue has only intercepted two passes throughout his career with both coming as a senior and focuses too much on making the big hit and fails to wrap up. Greg is too aggressive at times and will take bad angles to the ball. He's not as good in coverage as he should be considering his measurables.
