Domenik Hixon has excellent size and a solid frame. He is a smooth athlete with great timed speed and quickness. Domenik Hixon plays very physical and with a defensive mentality. He has good hands, runs well after the catch and plays smart. Hixon is a hard worker with top level intangibles.

Domenik Hixon is a raw prospect who is still adjusting to and learning the WR position. Domenik does not play as fast as his times suggests he should and he struggles to get separation. Hixon needs to learn how to run better routes and is not much of a deep threat. With little playing time against top prospects he lacks experience and when he has played those top prospects, he has not faired well

Domenik Hixon entered college at only 160 pounds and has bulked up considerably. When he first started his career he played safety and then moved to wideout as a junior in 2004. Domenik Hixon is a bit of a developmental prospect but he certainly has all the physical tools., and a lot of upside. Teams might just select Hixon earlier then expected and take a chance on his talent.
