Cory Rodgers is a major deep threat, as he has a great burst and can separate from any defender. Cory is very exciting in the open field and a threat to run it in for a touchdown every time he touches the ball. Cory is a tremendous return man who will contribute immediately on special teams and might work his way into a starting position at the NFL level.

Cory Rodgers is more quick than fast and lacks the elite speed that NFL wide receivers needs. Cory does not have outstanding size, he has a frail build and lacks strength. Rodgers struggles to beat press coverage and is not a great route runner. Cory Rodgers is a raw prospect who is still relatively rough around the edges.

Cory Rodgers was a Junior who came out early after ranking among the nations elite as both a kick and punt returner. Cory has some ability as a wideout but his real impact will be felt on special teams. He may never be an NFL starter but can certainly play a role for some team.
