Leon Williams NFL Draft Bio

Leon Williams has excellent size and a good frame. Leon is a tremendous natural athlete who possesses great speed and quickness. He has good range and goes sideline-to-sideline. Leon is a versatile player who can play multiple positions. He has shown he can be a superb special teams player. Williams is still learning the game and has a lot upside.

Leon Williams only started six games his entire college career and really needs to work on his game. Leon has questionable instincts for the middle, has trouble in coverage and didn't play on passing downs. The big knock on Leon is that he just doesn't play smart. Williams is a raw talent for any team drafting him and he will need to work on his technique to earn a position in the NFL. A fair bit of talent but Leon is probably a pretty big project. Notes: Has all the physical tools you look for but has just never been able to put it all together and translate that talent into on-field production...Could develop into a starter at the next level but will be chosen based almost solely on his potential.
