Jason Spitz has a very good height, weight and speed combo for a center. Unfortunately, he is not the good athlete his 40 time suggests he is. Spitz is a quick-footed center who can get through to the second level quickly when he is uncovered and can seal-block the linebacker out of the play. However, Spitz is stiff in the hips and lacks the flexibility to bend his knees and block with leverage.
