Kellen Clemens Moves well in the pocket and is very efficient in the short passing game. Clemens has good mechanics, throws well on the run and has shown good touch and timing. Kellen Clemens gives his receivers a chance to run under the deep ball and has decent accuracy. Kellen is a smart player who is a hard worker. Kellen Clemens is a big game player who approaches the game of football with a gunslingers mentality. He is a mature player who has top notch intangibles and is a proven leader

Clemens does not show great arm strength and does not have the size you would like from a #1 quarterback. Sometimes struggles with his accuracy and doesn’t throw the deep ball all that well. Clemens is not a great athlete. At times he has made some poor decisions by forcing the ball or leaving the pocket too quickly. Has shown that he can be pressured and needs to learn how to stay calm and in control of his emotions. Some scouts question his upside at the next level.

Kellen Clemens was having a nice year before breaking his left ankle in October which ended his senior season. Not being overly physical Clemens lacks the physical tools you look for but makes up for it by doing the little things. Not sure Kellen will ever make a full time starter but he could develop into a solid #2 or #3 guy.
