Roger McIntosh has outstanding athletic ability with great speed and quickness with a burst to close quickly. Roger can make plays sideline-to-sideline due to his good range on the field. McIntosh is a playmaker who is always around the action looking for any opportunity to help his team. Roger McIntosh is a solid tackler who has a knack for making stops behind the line of scrimmage. This last season he has shown his versatility, and demonstrated solid leadership on and off the field. Roger McIntosh is a hard worker who is smart and mature. And has some upside if he can stay healthy.

Roger McIntosh has shown some inconsistent play and doesn't always play up to his talent. Roger sometimes attacks from bad angles and needs to work on his fundamentals. Though Roger is a solid tackler he is only average in coverage and needs to improve his strength. Currently Roger relies too heavily on his athleticism to recover from mistakes and needs to improve his positional play. McIntosh has been known to get too aggressive at times which will not serve him well in a much faster NFL. Scouts worry about his durability as he has dealt with knee, shoulder and back injuries. Roger McIntosh is young and inexperienced, not having a ton of starting experience.

Roger Rocky McIntosh could project to either outside or inside linebacker at the NFL level. With the recent success of other Miami linebackers such as Jonathan Vilma and D.J. Williams in the pros will probably help him. Seemingly, Roger has all the physical tools you look for and with a little work, might become a solid NF player.
