Max Jean-Gilles is a massive man with a large frame, long arms and tremendous strength. Max uses that extreme strength to manhandle opponents and dominate. Max is quick off the ball and a solid athlete for a bigger man. He has good feet and moves well inside at guard spot and he delivers an explosive initial punch. Max Jean-Gilles is equally effective as both a run blocker and pass protector. Max is tough as nails and has proven to be durable at the college level. Max Jean-Gilles is a versatile and has a lot of experience at numerous positions along the offensive line. Max is an experienced player who has a lot of upside.

Max Jean-Gilles really needs to keep his weight in check and to keep in proper physical condition so he doesn't wear down quickly. Max being a man of physical prowess somehow disappears at times during games and needs to show more consistency in the pros. Max Jean-Gilles has below average speed, and has trouble handling speed rushers. Scouts worry that he really lacks that nasty demeanor and killer instinct and really doesn’t get to the second level of defenders.

Max Jean-Gilles could potentially see some time at right offensive tackle spot but looks much better inside at guard. Max Jean-Gilles has the ability to be a dominant blocker at the pro level, especially if the team who brings him in can maximize his effort on every play.
