Anthony Fasano #58 prospect in 2006 NFL Draft.

Anthony Fasano NFL Draft Bio

Anthony Fasano has good size and a solid frame. Fasano, when used in the sort to intermediate passing game, can be very effective as he has excellent hands and can make the tough catch. Anthony excels at the blocking game and he always puts in the extra effort and hard work until the play is finished. Anthony Fasano is an intelligent player who is tough and always up for a challenge. Anthony Fasano is very productive and had his best college season in 2005.

Anthony Fasano is not a naturally gifted athlete and needs to work hard, gain some strength to stay at an elite level. Anthony Fasano is not fast and lacks the outstanding speed and quickness most scouts are looking for in a tight end. Anthony will not stretch the field or gain many yards running after the catch as his speed and strength are not quite where they should be. At times during his final season, Anthony had trouble holding onto the ball which resulted in a few fumbles and loss of down. Scouts feel that Anthony may be at his best right now and he lacks the upside or potential to get much better.

Anthony Fasano is one of the best all-around tight ends in the draft in terms of receiving and blocking. Anthony Fasano is a lunch bucket player who is not flashy or imaginative with his play. He is a decent player who has good physical tools, top intangibles and a hard working attitude that is just right for getting the job done. Anthony Fasano always seems to play outside of what you expect his talent says he should. Anthony is an excellent character guy who is a good role player.
