D'Qwell Jackson is an incredibly instinctive and smart football player who is like an extra coach on the field. Jackson is a decent athlete and has a good burst speed that makes him formidable. D'Qwell Jackson makes plays sideline-to-sideline, has good range and is a sure tackler. D’Quell is a solid cover man who has a lot of experience and a good motor. He possesses great intangibles and has a fire in his belly that drives him to be the best on each and every play. At times it seems he is in the opposition huddle and he is extremely productive and is always around the ball.

D'Qwell Jackson is a little small and doesn't have a great timed speed. He works hard but struggles to shed blockers and can be engulfed and handled by players who are much bigger than he is. In order to take his game to the next level he will need to hit the weight room and get stronger. Jackson is a sure tackler but is not punishing when he hits. He will need to be in the right scheme to succeed at the next level.

It is feasible that D'Qwell Jackson could move to OLB at the pro level. D'Qwell has been one of the premier linebackers in college football as a senior. He lacks some of the physically attributes you might want him to have but his production and intangibles more than make up for his lack size.
