Claude Wroten is an excellent prospect who might just get drafted in the first round. Claude is an explosive one-gap penetrater who has excellent quickness off the snap. He has a great speed burst, an excellent athlete and has a great motor. He moves well from side to side, moves well and closes on the ball quickly. Claude Wroten has a good nose for the action, usually ends up in the middle of the action. Claude is a strong and physical player who can split off double teams and has a nasty demeanor. He is a little short for the tackle position but he has a solid build and works really hard. Claude Wroten is a prospect who has a lot of untapped potential and should get some decent looks from NFL scouts.

Generally teams want tackles that have a little more size. Claude Wroten is still a raw talent who has a lot to learn and needs to develop into the potential he has displayed. One weakness is his defense against the run. At times he looks out of place and gets caught up running around. Wroten really needs to work on his lower body strength as when lining up against bigger offensive lineman he may struggle a little when they lean on him. At times he has difficulties shedding blocks once opponents are locked on. A spirited competitor, Claude needs to stay more disciplined in the NFL. Claude Wroten is considered a project player with a lot of potential and must refine his techniques if he wishes to earn a starting spot.

Claude Wroten is a Former JUCO transfer who has never received the recognition he has earned. Claude is a Top pass rushing tackle who can wreak havoc in the middle of the line and he is still improving. Even though he is a bit of a project player he could be a better prospect than Marcus Spears was a year ago. If teams are not afraid of the rawness of Claude’s game, expect him to go in the first round. If they are concerned he should be an early second round pickup at the worst.
