Ko Simpson NFL Draft Bio

Ko Simpson is a very productive and a standout safety throughout his first two years. Ko has good size and a solid frame and has solid instincts. Simpson is always around the action and has a nose for the ball. He can defend against a wide receiver running down the sidelines and also collapse quickly to assist in the run defense. Ko is a physical player who is also a reliable tackler. Ko can read a defense well and uses those instincts to get himself into position. Simpson has good ball skills and can steal a ball away from a receiver with some success. He is still improving and has a fair bit of upside.

Ko Simpson does not have the truly elite speed that some players have but we feel if he puts in the work he can significantly improve in that area. Ko is older than the your average prospect and has a fair bit of experience. At 23 years of age, some scouts might think twice drafting Ko as he is a little older then some might like. He has only played college ball for two years, which might lower his stock, but he is pretty darn talented for having only played two seasons.

Ko Simpson came from out of nowhere when he came on to the scene as a freshman. He earned a lot of respect and national honors that first year. Simpson’s second season was just as impressive. Ko took a year off school in 2003, which allows him to enter the draft in 2006. He is a very talented prospect who has a well rounded game. Plenty of talent and loads of potential should see Ko drafted in the first round.
