Jerome Murphy (born January 13, 1987) is an American football cornerback for the Washington Redskins of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams. He played college football for the University of South Florida.

He has also played for the New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions.

Murphy attended the University of South Florida from 2005 to 2009. As a senior he was a first team all-Big East selection by Phil Steele. During his career he started 25 of 51 games, recording 178 tackles, eight interceptions, and two forced fumbles.
