Victor Allen Butler (born July 29, 1987) is an American football outside linebacker for the New Orleans Saints of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL Draft. He played college football at Oregon State University.

Butler attended Eisenhower High School in Rialto, California, where he was teammates with Ryan Clady. He was a two-time all-league and all-county as a senior.

At Oregon State University he played defensive end and finished ranked second all-time in school history in sacks (25.5). His rise as a player started in his junior year, when he had 10.5 sacks. As a senior, he was named team captain and posted career-highs in sacks (12, tied for school record), tackles for a loss (21.5, school-record) and tackles (65), while being named first-team All-Pac 10. He also tied a school single game sack record (4) in the Sun Bowl.
