Gold Medallist Muenzer retires

Olympic champion cyclist Lori-Ann Muenzer has decided not to try to defy the odds one more time. Muenzer, who won the sprint gold medal at the 2004 Athens Summer Games at the age of 38, announced Monday she is retiring from cycling. She plans to concentrate on her company Pure Momentum Inc., which promotes Canadian female motivational speakers, and devote time to a program shes established to develop young cyclists.
