One of the reasons that Dana White is by far the best combat sports promoter in the world is the many new and unique ways he uses his own celebrity to draw interest in UFC fight cards. The one that may draw the most interest, though, is the one on Wednesday at 3 p.m. ET with NFL quarterback Tom Brady. During a scrum with reporters at the UFC Apex facility on Tuesday to discuss Saturday's card at T-Mobile Arena, White was asked if he would lobby Brady to leave the New England Patriots and sign as a free agent with the Las Vegas Raiders.

Former Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys defensive linesman Greg Hardy's main card UFC debut did not go as planned after he was disqualified. Hardy (3-1) was disqualified for an illegal knee to Allen Crowder in the second round of Saturday's clash in New York. Crowder was down on the ground on one knee when Hardy - who only made his mixed-martial arts debut seven months - connected at Barclays Center.

Former Panthers and Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy has won yet another UFC fight by first-round knockout. Hardy needed just 17 seconds to knock out opponent Tebaris Gordon at the UFC’s Tuesday Night Contender Series. The UFC has faced criticism for giving Hardy a chance at all, given the domestic violence accusation that has led NFL teams to steer clear of him.
