Early Action Likes Manning And Crew The 1972 Miami Dolphins probably have the champagne bottles chilling and are hoping to uncork them this weekend, after all the number of teams still in the hunt for an undefeated season has been whittled down to a pair, but what a pair - New England and Indy.

The Pats, who are listed as a 16˝-point favorite, fittingly enough travel to Miami to play the current Dolphins, while the other perfect team is a 3-point favorite on Monday night, as the Colts travel to Jacksonville. While it would be a monumental feat for Miami to upset the Patriots, the Jags have a very good chance of sending Indy home with their first blemish of the season.

Let's have a look at this week's NFL action:

Baltimore at Buffalo

The song remains the same in Baltimore as the Ravens continue their tradition of smash mouth football.

Currently owners of the league's fourth best defense and averaging 107.2 yards on the ground, the Ravens are doing so with former Buffalo Bill RB Willis McGahee in the backfield.

McGahee might have revenge on his mind as he returns to Ralph Wilson Stadium to take on his old team.

The Ravens are a road favorite of 3-points. Prior to last week's bye the Bills covered as a 10˝-point home dog against Dallas on MNF, but might still be having nightmares after surrendering a 24-13 lead in the fourth quarter, eventually losing 25-24.

Maybe it's that heartbreaking loss that has bettors at SPORTSBETTING.COM thinking Buffalo will have a hard time this week, as 80% of the punters are wagering on Baltimore to cover the 3 points.

If you think the bye week and the hangover from that tough loss to Dallas might lead to a slow start for Buffalo, SPORTSBETTING.COM has a prop bet on which team will score first, Buffalo (+105) or Baltimore (-135)…or maybe the bye week will give them some extra jump, meaning a quick start?

Pittsburgh at Denver

Speaking of smash mouth football, the Pittsburgh Steelers are set to welcome WRs Hines Ward and Santonio Holmes and S Troy Polamalu back to their lineup just in time for their matchup with the Denver Broncos. They looked good even without these playmakers, so it's not surprising the early action in this matchup is all over Pittsburgh, coming in at a 90% clip.

Indianapolis at Jacksonville

Last week, football bettors and fans had their eyes glued on the tube as they watched the marquee matchup between New England and Dallas.

This week's best matchup sees the Indy Colts traveling to Jacksonville to take on the Jaguars as a 3-point favorite.

The Colts are currently 5-0 and own the league's third best offense, while the Jags are no slouch on 'D' currently ranking eighth overall in the entire NFL.

The Jaguars have the support of the 1972 Dolphins, but that's about it as the Colts are getting a large majority of the early action from the betting public, with Indy seeing 95% of the bets. This is one game that should live up to the billing, as the Jags have made a habit of playing Indy very tough.

Dog Bites:

Last week the dogs weren't that ferocious, only covering the spread in four games. Let's have a look at a couple of matchups from Week 7 that have the underdog receiving most of the attention from bettors.

- Maybe it's because RB Priest Holmes is set to return, maybe it's because Oakland isn't that good, but the Kansas City Chiefs, who are 3-point road 'dogs in their game against Raiders, are seeing 85% of the action.

- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers added RB Michael Bennett at the trade deadline and while they are listed as a 2-point underdog against Detroit, they are seeing 70% of the action.

Totally Covered:

A few games are seeing lopsided action on the Over/Under wagering, let's have a quick look:

- 85% of bettors at SPORTSBETTING.COM think the Pittsburgh Steelers and Denver Broncos game will go over 39.

- 80% of the early betting believe that the 8-point favorite Seattle Seahawks and the St. Louis Rams are going Under the posted total of 40.

- And in that marquee Monday nighter, bettors are hoping for a classic offensive performance from Manning, plus some points from the Jags as 80% of those betting the total have it pegged as an over.
