Jets rule out RB Le’Veon Bell vs. Dolphins with illness

Jets running back Le'Veon Bell has been ruled out for New York's game against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday because of an illness. Bell practiced fully on Wednesday, but then sat out Thursday and Friday. He was listed Friday as questionable for the game after being sent home to rest.

Browns activate TE Njoku

The Cleveland Browns activated tight end David Njoku on Saturday, making him available to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon. The Browns (5-7) host the Bengals (1-11) at 1 p.m. ET. Njoku had been sidelined for eight games with a wrist injury sustained in Cleveland's 23-3 victory over the New York Jets on Sept. 16.

The Cleveland Browns have activated tight end David Njoku off injured reserve ahead of their Week 14 encounter with Ohio rivals the Cincinnati Bengals. Njoku, who has not played since suffering a wrist injury in the win over the New York Jets in Week 2, will now return to give quarterback Baker Mayfield another weapon over the final four games. A first-round draft pick in 2017, he had four touchdowns in each of his first two seasons in the NFL and caught a pass in the end zone from Mayfield in Week 1 of the 2019 campaign against the Tennessee Titans.

"I think I'll have more information probably by (Saturday)," head coach Adam Gase said.
