Jaguars formula the key to playoff success for Wentz-less Eagles

Wednesday, December 13th, 2017

In the NFL, one play can define a season. The Philadelphia Eagles were offered a brutal reminder of that reality last Sunday as quarterback Carson Wentz, the primary architect of their stunning 11-2 season, suffered a season-ending knee injury in their 43-35 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

Will Patriots’ Loss Against Dolphins Cost Tom Brady NFL MVP?

Tuesday, December 12th, 2017

Tom Brady sandwiched more brilliance than most NFL quarterbacks will manage in five years into the period between September 9 and December 11 2017. For the second time this season, Brady had an objectively bad game, throwing two interceptions as the New England Patriots lost, pretty shockingly, to the Miami Dolphins on Monday Night Football. Brady completed 24 of 43 passes for 233 yards and a touchdown.

Patriots’ loss opens the door to the Jaguars earning a bye week

Tuesday, December 12th, 2017

The biggest beneficiary of the Patriots’ loss to the Dolphins on Monday night may turn out to be the Jaguars. It’s long been assumed that the Steelers and Patriots would own the two AFC first-round byes. If the Patriots lose to the Steelers they can finish no better than 12-4.

Monday, December 11th, 2017

The last time the Jacksonville Jaguars were alone atop the AFC South this late in a season, they lost three straight and missed the playoffs. ''This is not the old Jaguars team,'' rookie running back Leonard Fournette said following a 30-24 victory against Seattle on Sunday.

Calais Campbell is officially the ‘Mayor of Sacksonville,’ deems the Jacksonville mayor

Friday, December 8th, 2017

It has been a terrific season for Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Calais Campbell and an even better one for the Jags defense as a whole. Campbell’s 12.5 sacks rank third in the NFL and have already set a franchise record. In fact, Jacksonville leads the league in the category with 45 total and twice has recorded double digit sacks in a single game.

Jaguars to sell Marroney Bologna sandwiches at games

Friday, December 8th, 2017

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Jaguars fans don't have to wait until after games to eat a bologna and cheese sandwich like coach Doug Marrone. The team is now selling Marrone's favorite meal throughout EverBank Field on game days, beginning with Sunday's game against Seattle. It's called the Marroney Bologna and it costs $6. Delaware North Sportservice has put its own twist on it, though. Marrone prefers thin-sliced bologna and American cheese with spicy mustard on white bread. The Marroney Bologna sandwich features thick-cut bologna and American cheese grilled on paisano artisan bread. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Jaguars Foundation.
