Report: Mike Groh joining Colts’ coaching staff

Mike Groh has found a new job. The former Eagles offensive coordinator is joining the Colts' coaching staff, Alex Marvez of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Groh worked with Indianapolis head coach Frank Reich when both were in Philadelphia.

Polamalu, James lead 5-person class into Hall of Fame

The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced five new members on Saturday to round out its Centennial Class of 2020, as Troy Polamalu, Edgerrin James, Isaac Bruce, Steve Atwater and Steve Hutchinson were named for induction in Canton this summer. The Hall's five newest members complete this year's special class of 20 -- the others were announced in January -- that will be formally enshrined Aug. 8 in Canton, Ohio. The five modern-era enshrinees were selected by the board of selectors of the Hall of Fame.

Here are our best QB rushing props for the weekend: Tannehill has rushed for 11 and 13 yards with a touchdown through his two playoff games and those aren't numbers we can get behind for a rushing total. However, if the Titans get up on the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes is more than capable of creating with his legs as his 53 yards on seven carries versus Houston showed. Lamar Jackson ran for 143 yards against the Titans last week and with Mahomes averaging just 15 yards rushing per game this year, we get a great number on his rushing total.

NFL notebook: OBJ reportedly won’t face charges

The Superdome police officer on the receiving end of a butt slap from Odell Beckham Jr. is not pressing charges against the Cleveland Browns receiver, multiple outlets reported Saturday. On Thursday, New Orleans police obtained a warrant for Beckham on a misdemeanor charge of simple battery after he was videotaped slapping the rear end of the officer in the LSU locker room following the Tigers' national championship win against Clemson on Monday. It remains to be seen if the New Orleans police rescind the warrant, which ESPN reports could happen as soon as this weekend.

Antonio Morrison, Bolingbrook's Class of 2012 (Florida):  Morrison, who was a three-year varsity starting linebacker for the Raiders led his team to the 2011 Class 8A state title. Morrison signed with Florida and had a very productive college career for the Gators.

Andy Reid makes playoff history

In its 100-year history, the NFL has seen only six postseason games in which one team erased a deficit of 20 or more points to win. Chiefs coach Andy Reid made history on Sunday by becoming the only man to be on both sides of history. On Sunday, the Chiefs and Reid overcame a 24-point deficit against the Texans, for a spot in the AFC Championship.

Report: Ed Dodds won’t interview for Browns G.M. job

The Browns hired Kevin Stefanski as their new head coach on Sunday and that means they can move their attention toward hiring John Dorsey's replacement as the team's General Manager. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that Colts assistant G.M. Ed Dodds has turned down the opportunity to meet with the team. When word of the interest in Dodds first surfaced, many noted that he'd worked with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh in Seattle.

The Cleveland Browns have yet to hire a new coach after firing Freddie Kitchens on Dec. 29, but they appear to be trying to curry favor with 49ers defensive coordinator Robert Saleh, a reported top candidate. The Browns have requested permission to interview Indianapolis Colts assistant general manager Ed Dodds for Cleveland's vacant GM position, WKRK-FM's Dustin Fox reported Saturday. Dodds is among the names on Saleh's list of GMs he'd want to be paired with if he's hired by the Browns, Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reported.

Browns meet with Vikings OC Stefanski for coaching job

The Browns' coaching search went back on the road Thursday. The team is interviewing Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski, who took a break from playoff planning to meet with Cleveland's group. Stefanski was a finalist last year for the Browns' job, which went to Freddie Kitchens but came open again after a woeful 6-10 season.
