Tom Brady is used to being the main reason the Patriots start off a regular season strong, but this year it's his defense that carried this team to an undefeated September. They lead the NFL in points per game allowed (6.8), yards per game (243), sacks (18), interceptions (10) and have scored two touchdowns while only letting up one. The secondary has been especially good, lead by Devin McCourty, who is the first player since 2003 to record four picks in the first four games of a season.

The Pittsburgh Steelers insisted they might have been winless through three weeks, but they were far from hopeless. An effort that looked an awful lot like what they put together during a 27-3 pounding of Cincinnati on Monday night. Mason Rudolph threw for 229 yards and two scores.

Mason Rudolph threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns to pick up his first victory while filling in for Ben Roethlisberger as the Pittsburgh Steelers easily handled the Cincinnati Bengals 27-3 on Monday night. Rudolph completed 24 of 28 passes, most of them quick hitters that allowed the Steelers to control the clock. He connected with James Conner on a delayed screen for a 21-yard touchdown in the second quarter, then broke the game open with a 43-yard heave to rookie Diontae Johnson midway through the third as the Steelers (1-3) won their ninth straight over the Bengals (0-4).

The Pittsburgh Steelers got their first win of the season and made the Cincinnati Bengals look like a very poor football team in the process. The Bengals couldn't do much of anything offensively against a Steelers defense that sacked Andy Dalton eight times, which is the most he's ever been sacked in his career. Jaylen Samuels and James Conner carved up the Bengals defense as the Steelers utilized Samuels in a wildcat formation to create a new wrinkle for the Mason Rudolph led offensive attack.

Louis Riddick unloaded on the Redskins for how the organization handled the NFL debut of rookie quarterback Dwayne Haskins on Sunday in a 24-3 loss to the New York Giants. "Dwayne Haskins going into that game was really one of the worst decisions I've seen this year as far as how people handle young quarterbacks," Riddick said. His comments during ESPN's Monday Night Countdown show where Riddick serves as an analyst, though many Redskins fans remember Riddick as a former scout and Director of Player Personnel for Washington in the mid-2000s.

There was a bad pass interference call in a prime-time NFL game. The play in question involved a deep sideline ball from Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph to wideout Johnny Holton on first-and-10 from their own 35-yard line.
