Cowboys delay Eagles celebrations with Redskins win

Thursday, November 30th, 2017

The Philadelphia Eagles will have to wait a few more days to clinch the NFC East after the Dallas Cowboys defeated the Washington Redskins 38-14 in the NFL on Thursday. A Cowboys loss would have given the Eagles (10-1) the division title but Dallas reigned supreme at AT&T Stadium. Philadelphia can still clinch the division with a win over the Seattle Seahawks (7-4) on Sunday.

Eric Reid says NFL not committing new money to social causes, shifting from veterans, cancer

Thursday, November 30th, 2017

San Francisco 49ers safety Eric Reid isn’t satisfied with the arrangement reached by the NFL and a coalition of players headed by Malcolm Jenkins and Anquan Boldin to address social causes. Reid, Miami Dolphins safety Michael Thomas and Los Angeles Chargers tackle Russell Okung were among players to remove their support from the group was an agreement was reached on Wednesday. In an interview with Jeremy Stahl of Slate, Reid said one of his points of contention is that the league’s pledge to allocate $90-100 million for social causes isn’t new money being offered by the owners.

All three phases contribute to what looks like a season-ending loss for the Redskins

Thursday, November 30th, 2017

Here are my observations during the Redskins' depressing 38-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys. -On their first drive the Redskins had a fourth and two at the Dallas 43. The Cowboys are struggling on offense and there was no need to give them a short field.

Alfred Morris just had his best game vs. Redskins since he was a Redskin

Thursday, November 30th, 2017

For the Washington Redskins, there is probably nothing worse than losing to the Dallas Cowboys twice in one season and basically being eliminated from the playoffs in that loss. That is until you realize that a large reason for the loss was a former Redskin

Washington’s terrible season got worse, and what happens next isn’t pretty either

Thursday, November 30th, 2017

The Redskins will go into the offseason wondering how their team could have had so many good pieces and their record could have turned out so bad. Against a reeling Dallas Cowboys team on Thursday night, the Redskins looked sloppy and unprepared, took on more injuries (of course) and got blasted 38-14. There’s no way to explain the injuries Washington has taken on this season.
