The Baltimore Ravens have placed linebacker Zachary Orr on injured reserve and elevated former Navy star Keenan Reynolds from the practice squad. In addition, offensive tackle Rick Wagner will miss the game with a concussion. Baltimore also announced Saturday it has claimed wide receiver Vince Mayle, who was waived by Dallas.

Canada wins 2nd-straight Spengler Cup

Canada repeated as Spengler Cup champions on Saturday, powering past Swiss club HC Lugano 5-2 in a rematch of last year's final. The win is Canada's 14th in the 90-year history of the tournament, second only to HC Davos' 15 wins.

Ten suspended Minnesota football players will not face charges in connection with an alleged sexual assault near campus, prosecutors announced after taking a second look at the case. Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman had previously declined to charge the players in connection with the September incident that triggered suspensions, possible expulsions, talk of a bowl game boycott and questions of whether head coach Tracy Claeys should continue with the Gopher football program. After reviewing that report, Freeman stood by his November decision, saying the school's investigation didn't add sufficient evidence to warrant criminal charges.

Henrik Sedin scored at 4:01 of overtime Friday as the Vancouver Canucks defeated the Anaheim Ducks 3-2. The Canucks captain roofed his ninth of the season on a 2-on-1 rush in the extra period after Ryan Getzlaf missed the net on a 2-on-1 at the other end.
