The Baltimore Orioles beat Boston 6-3 Sunday, then took to scoreboard watching as Texas downed the Los Angeles Angels in the finale of a day/night doubleheader to enable Baltimore to secure a playoff spot for the first time since 1997.

Canadian figure skating legend Barbara Ann Scott dies

Barbara Ann Scott, still the only Canadian to win an individual gold medal in Olympic figure skating, died Sunday. She was 84.
