Strasburg to debut in majors June 8

The Washington Nationals said after Mondays 14-4 win over Houston that prized pitching prospect Stephen Strasburg would make his major league debut against visiting Pittsburgh on June 8.

Marlins selling unused Halladay perfect game tickets

The Florida Marlins will begin selling on Tuesday unused tickets to the game in which Roy Halladay pitched the 20th perfect game in major league history, a 1-0 victory for the Phillies over the Marlins on Saturday.

Accomplished Canadian golfer Matt Hill announced Monday that hes decided to skip his final year at college and turn professional. The 21-year-old from Brights Grove, Ont., will make his pro debut this at this weeks PGA Tour event in Ohio.
