Canada 1 USA 0 1st period

Jonathan Toews swooped in for a rebound goal after Mike Richards stole the puck from a U.S. defender to put Canada up 1-0 in the Olympic gold medal game in Vancouver. The goal came not long after the U.S. put the puck just shy of the goal line behind Canadian goalie Roberto Luongo.
