Province fuels NASCAR event for Saskatoon

Braves lock up Chipper Jones for 42M

Defending National League batting champion Chipper Jones agreed Tuesday with the Atlanta Braves on a three-year, $42 million US contract extension through 2012 with an option for 2013.

Roughriders violate CFL salary cap again

The Saskatchewan Roughriders exceeded the CFLs salary cap by $87,147 in the 2008 season, the league said Tuesday, incurring a fine for the second year in a row.
