EPL Roundup Liverpool stumbles badly

On a day when league leader Manchester United is idle, the news couldnt get any better for the storied side. Second-place rival Liverpool dropped more points in the EPL title race, falling to a weak Middlesbrough squad 2-0.

Roloson saves Oilers

Edmonton Oilers goaltender Dwayne Roloson made 43 saves and bailed his teammates out after a number of defensive mistakes in a 3-2 home victory over the Minnesota Wild on Saturday night.

Jones Mallett to play for Hearts title

Kubina Leafs work overtime again to beat Senators

Pavel Kubina scored the tying goal with five minutes left in regulation and added the winner 33 seconds into overtime as the Maple Leafs beat the Ottawa Senators 4-3 in Torontos sixth consecutive OT game.

Halak Habs withstand San Jose rally

NHL suspends Wild s Boogaard 5 games

The NHL handed out a swift penalty for a wayward elbow for the second consecutive day, suspending Derek Boogaard of the Minnesota Wild for five games.

Holcomb s USA 1 has lead in 4 man bobsled
