With LeBron James out nursing a right ankle sprain, the Seattle SuperSonics finished off a sweep of last years NBA finalists.
Chris Wilcox scored Seattles first 10 points, Kevin Durant had 12 of his 24 in the first quarter, and the SuperSonics held off a late Cleveland surge to beat the James-less Cavaliers 101-95 on Thursday night.

Mavs fall to Garnett less Celtics

Point guard Rajon Rondo had a season-high 12 rebounds, following one of them with a putback layup with 42 seconds left to give the Celtics the lead, and Boston held on to beat the Dallas Mavericks 96-90 on Thursday night.
Playing without Kevin Garnett for the third straight game, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen scored 26 points apiece to help the Celtics remain unbeaten against the Western Conference.

Blake leads Kings over Islanders

Rob Blake scored a rare power-play goal for Los Angeles in the third period, and Jason LaBarbera made 28 saves to lift the suddenly surging Kings to a 3-1 victory over the slumping New York Islanders on Thursday night.
Blake shook off defenseman Radek Martinek in front and managed to get his stick on Dustin Browns shot, squeezing it between the pads of backup goalie Wade Dubielewicz 7:22 into the third.

Prince hits big shot to down Lakers

Tayshaun Princes 3-pointer with 4.4 seconds left lifted the Detroit Pistons to a 90-89 victory over the Los Angles Lakers on Thursday night, overcoming Kobe Bryants big night.
Bryant had 39 points and 10 rebounds, but didnt get a shot on the final possession, which ended with Lamar Odoms airball. Bryant had an unusual triple-double, adding a career-high 11 turnovers to his scoring and rebounding numbers.
