Predicting the Oregon State Beavers decade ahead

Completed Rebuild To get the 2020s started, head coach Jonathan Smith was able to complete his rebuild into a competitive program by qualifying for the team's first bowl game in eight seasons. Nebraska transfer Tristan Gebbia got an offseason of development going into the year, defeated Chance Nolan in an open quarterback competition during training camp, and lead the Beavers to six victories. To cap off the season in the 2020 Cheez-It Bowl, Jermar Jefferson ran for three touchdowns as the Beavers routed Gary Andersen and the Utah State Aggies, 38-17.

Multiple Oregon State Beavers selected in the XFL Draft

Multiple former Beavers will be playing professionally. Today, the XFL kicked off its preseason with a draft that was broken up into five different phases broken up by position. First, the Los Angeles Wildcats took offensive guard Fred Lauina with the eighth pick of the second round of the offensive line phase (16th overall).
