NFL expected to cut preseason schedule in half; Jaguars to play two games

The Jaguars won't have to travel on the road to play the Carolina Panthers on Aug. 13 or face the Atlanta Falcons in what was to be the preseason finale at TIAA Bank Field on Sept. The NFL will shorten its preseason schedule from four games to two, canceling the first and fourth games for all teams in response to the coronavirus pandemic.

With the franchise-tag signing deadline looming, ESPN reports that Jacksonville Jaguars pass-rusher Yannick Ngakoue still wants to be traded. Naturally, that makes us wonder about the Las Vegas Raiders. Less than 24 hours before the first round of the draft in April, a report surfaced that the Raiders and Jaguars were “close” on a deal that would send Ngakoue to Las Vegas.

The SS Great Britain was the most experimental steam ship of her time and revolutionised travel and set new standards in engineering, reliability and speed. A record-breaking salvage operation saw her become the largest ship ever re-floated onto a pontoon and the 8,000-mile journey to the UK was the longest salvage tow ever attempted. When the SS Great Britain returned to Bristol after 127 years away, thousands of spectators lined the River Avon to see the homecoming as she passed under the Clifton Suspension Bridge and into Bristol, resting back in her original dry dock on July 19 1970.
