John Lackey threw a seven-hit shutout as the LA Angels of Anaheim downed the Seattle Mariners, 8-0, in the second of a four- game set at Safeco Field.
Lackey (13-6) walked three and struck out five while throwing 106 pitches (67 strikes) for his first shutout and first complete game of the season.
