This logo is slightly different then the one the NHL used from 1936 - 2004 with the NHL text being slightly larger and following inline straight up and down while on the angle. The NHL logo designed in 1918 used the customary black and orange color scheme which has been used on all NHL merchandise, collectables and print media up until 2004.
