Geoff Ogilvy Returns to the course where he made his PGA Tour debut winning the Chrysler Classic of Tucson.
It took 108 PGA Tour starts before Geoff Ogilvy won his first title, becoming the Chrysler Classic of Tucson's fifth first-time champion in six years by defeating Kevin Na on the second playoff hole on Sunday.
Ogilvy shouted for joy after making the difficult putt, rolling in an 18-foot, downhill putt for birdie on the second playoff to beat Kevin Na in a dramatic finish.
The 2nd playoff hole was played on the 501-yard, par-5 10th at the Tucson National Golf Resort. Na and Ogilvy drove through the fairway and behind trees for difficult lies. Ogilvy finessed his second shot on to the fairway giving him a clear approach that stopped 18 feet above the hole.
Kevin Na cleared the trees with his second shot, and the ball landed just beyond the fringe at the back of the green. Na chipped his shot 8 feet past the cup, giving Ogilvy the opening he needed for the big win.
