The par-72 TPC at Summerlin is 7,243 yards from the championship tees. Tournament Players Club (TPC) at Summerlin, a breathtaking 22,000-acre master-planned development is an emerald enclave that soothes the eyes and energizes the body and mind. The Tournament Players Club at Summerlin is a virtual and literal oasis in the southern Nevada desert, located not far from the Las Vegas strip. Several sand bunkers have been incorporated into the design, and water hazards come into play at least four times. The club is the annual host to the PGA Tour's "Michelin Championship at Las Vegas" formally, Invensys Classic at Las Vegas and the Senior PGA Tour's Las Vegas Seniors Classic. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 4th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and the 5th best for 1997-98. In addition, "GOLFWEEK" awarded it 98th in the category of "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" for 1997. A second eighteen hole course, TPC at the Canyons, opened to the public in October of 1996.
