The Superbowl 50 halftime show opened with Coldplay playing "Yellow" and "Viva La Vida". There was extra excitement when lead singer Chris Martin dove into the crowd, keeping the performance upbeat and with a high level of energy. The show then went on to "Paradise", including fireworks, streamers, flags and a stadium full of vibrant colors. Fans held up placards that spelled out "Believe in love." Before leaving Coldplay sang "Adventure of a Lifetime" and "A head Full of Dreams" from the band's latest album. Bruno Mars then came on next, rocking the show with "Uptown Funk" and after Beyonce came on and dominated the stage with a group of dancers and 30-foot flames shooting into the air while she performed "Formation".
Beyonce and Bruno Mars then did simultaneous performances of "Uptown Funk" and "Single Ladies", joining Chris Martin on the stage.
Coldplay came back on for the big finish and performed "Clocks" while scenes from past Superbowl performances were displayed on the big screen.
