2005 2nd Round NFL Draft Selections

Round two perhaps is not as exciting as round one but it still holds a certain mystique. The second round has seen some exceptional players drafted over the years of the National Football League (NFL) draft weekend. As a matter of fact Brett Favre was originally drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in the 2nd round in 1991. The NFL draft consists of weeks of speculation, trade rumors, draft predictions, prospect watching, with many NFL experts prognosticating who will be the first overall pick, will the first pick be traded and what are the needs of the team holding the first pick. The NFL draft is among the most watched and anticipated sporting events in North America. Millions of NFL fans watch the draft at home or on the internet waiting for any information. Fans wait for the picks, the blockbuster trade, they hope that their favorite team is going to land that top rated NFL prospect and discuss every nuance and detail of each prospect selected around the water cooler following the weekends busy event. The NFL draft is exciting and it is a testament to the great product the NFL puts on and off the field!
